Behind the Scenes

Feature Film – 1st AC

This feature film will always hold a special place in my heart, not only for being the first feature film I was actively involved in but also for being the first big project that brought me closer to my filmmaking friends. I worked as the 1st Assistant Camera, and I could not be prouder of our director and friend Felipe Martinez and of working with a crew like this one. Here’s to many more films to come!

Music Video – 1st AC

This is the first music video I have ever worked on and it went by like a blink. I worked with a lot of familiar faces (especially from the feature film Aguanta) as well as new ones. I tried my luck again with 1st Assistant Camera, and had a blast. Over a hundred shots in just two days? Easy.

Short Film – Director of Photography

Home Sweet Hell

My third time being the cinematographer for a great story written and directed by my good friend Max Woods. Definitely challenging filming outside since I wasn’t able to control the light but positioning of the actors and time of day were critical to the success of this shoot! We are still currently in production, halted by the pandemic.

Short Film – Director of Photography

Milk and Honey

I was enthusiastically thrusted into becoming the cinematographer for this project after the previous one had trouble with scheduling. Honestly, that is one of the luckiest moments in my life because I decided to experiment with haze and fog to create some stunning lighting set-ups. Definitely taught me a lot about manipulating light on a set.

Process Documentary – Director

Titanium Woman

Quarantined because of the coronavirus, my sister finally decided to paint an idea she’s had since her back surgery. Seeing this as an opportunity for both of us, I decided to document her process in a rather flashy manner. A one man job with the use of my friend Carlo Tonda’s Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K camera, I was able to pull off a film I’ll forever be proud of.
